Welcome to CAPTUR3D, an end-to-end immersive media platform for Matterport Service Providers. In this instructional video you will learn about the key features of CAPTUR3D and how it can help improve your business efficiency.
View all of your up-and-coming bookings on the Booking Dashboard with each booking’s name or address, time, date, client, and the technician responsible for completing the job. The status bar indicates the life-cycle of a booking: booking confirmed, processing content such as floor plans and images, delivery email available and invoiced.
Create a Booking
To create a booking, click on the ‘New Booking’ button. Enter your booking street address, the property name, and the scheduled time and date. You can also use the drag and drop feature to quickly schedule a time.
Select an existing client, or simply create a new client. Enter your client’s name, upload their logo and select a branding colour to be featured on their 3D Tour. You can select an existing floor plan or create a custom floor plan (instructions for this are available later in the video). Lastly add the client’s website.
Select a technician who will be completing the scan.
To order a floor plan, simply check the box otherwise floor plan customisation options are available under the ‘Services’ menu.
Select an existing contact, or simply create a new contact. Enter the contact's name, title, email, telephone numbers, address and any additional notes.
Enter the booking price, entry requirements, industry and property type as well as the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. Lastly add any booking notes that the technician may require for entry.
A confirmation email will be sent to the contact and technician with all of the booking information.
The contact and technician will also receive a booking reminder 24 hours before the scan to ensure the booking isn’t missed.
Scan & Upload
Once you have finished scanning your space, upload the model in to your Matterport Account.
Within 24 hours CAPTUR3D will have created your unique 3D tour URL, custom floor plan, rotating dollhouse and downloaded your Matterport images. You can also password protect your 3D tours, create a multi-model player and upload your external photos and videos.
Deliver a Booking
Once you have confirmed all of your content for delivery, click the ‘Deliver’ button.
The booking contact’s email address is automatically included and you can also add or remove recipients as required.
By default three analytics reports are sent to all recipients in a 2, 4 and 6 week interval. To turn off an analytics report simply click on the green button to disable.
When you have approved of the content, click the ‘Deliver’ button.
An email will be delivered to the recipients which includes a branded 3D tour URL and any additional content requested such as the rotating dollhouse, custom floor plans, Matterport still images and your external photos and videos.
Your booking delivery recipients will automatically receive fortnightly analytics reports for a 2, 4 and 6 week interval.
You can also view analytics reports by clicking the analytics tab on the booking page. Here you can select specific date ranges and gain more in-depth information regarding your total views and users. As well as the average time users engaged with your 3D Tours categorised by referring website including property portals, client websites and Facebook.
To view a specific client’s overall analytics report, select the client and choose the desired date range. You then have the option to print the analytics report as a PDF or to download the data as a CSV file.
To create your own email branding, click into ‘Settings’, then ‘General’. Select your logo and primary colour. The primary colour is used on all download buttons and highlighted text within your emails. You will only need to change the secondary colour if the two colours clash or if the button text is difficult to read.
Custom Floor Plan
To create a custom floor plan template, click ‘Services’, then ‘Floor Plan Templates’. You will automatically have two floor plan templates available for use. Otherwise if you would like to request your own floor plan template click ‘Request’.
Name your floor plan template, select the style, and select a client if required. Upload an example of the floor plan you would like recreated, and lastly include any additional information for design clarification such as font types and layout. Click ‘Request’ to confirm.
To order your own custom virtual reality cardboard headsets, click ‘Services’, then ‘VR Cardboards’, and the ‘Order’ button. You can download the VR cardboard design template to create your own or CAPTUR3D’s team can create a custom design on request.
Select the quantity of cardboards and enter all of your contact and delivery information. One of our team member will be in touch with you shortly after your order to confirm your design.
