CAPTUR3D enables users to add both Location-Based Audio and Background Audio to Virtual Tours with a variety of options to choose from. Current file compatibility is: MP3, WAV or WEBM under 100MB each.
1. In the CAPTUR3D Creator Studio, select the 'Audio' tab at the top of the page.
2. After uploading your audio file(s), hover over your chosen file and select the green '+' icon.
3. Select either the 'Background track' or 'Scans' option.
'Background track' allows you to assign 1 audio track to the entire Virtual Tour. The audio plays throughout the Virtual Tour when the end-user is on any scan point. The end user will have the option to mute/unmute the audio before the Virtual Tour loads, and whilst viewing the Virtual Tour.
'Location-Based Audio' (or the 'Scans' option) allows you to assign multiple audio tracks to different scan points within your Virtual Tour. The audio will start automatically as soon as the end-user navigates to an assigned scan point, stop when the end-user navigates away from an assigned scan point, and continue from where the audio track left off after navigating back onto an assigned scan.
Audio can be assigned to specific scan points by selecting the audio file in the right-side menu and then clicking on the individual scan points themselves, or selecting them from the checkbox list in the screenshot below. You can then select the circular 'Tick' icon at the bottom-centre of the screen to confirm your selections. Each track and their assigned scan points are colour-coded to assist you with organisation and referencing.
There is also the option to have either the 'Background track' or the 'Scans audio' tracks to play 'once' or 'on loop' in the Virtual Tour.
Remember to 'Save & Publish' your work to ensure your changes are applied!
Custom Welcome Message
When applying any Audio to your Virtual Tour, this will generate a welcome screen, where the end-user will have the option to 'play the tour with/without sound'. Click on the 'Description' tab on the right-side menu of Creator Studio to add a custom message to this welcome screen.
