White label domains & Custom subdomain: URL setup

White label domain

Please note that CAPTUR3D white label setup can only be applied to URLs on 'Creator' subscriptions and above'

White label domain URLs can be created for your:

• Virtual Tours
• Single Property Websites
• Public Booking Forms

In order to set up white labelled URLs, there are a couple of steps you will need to complete on your account. Our team will then complete the activation which can take between 48-72 hours. Once completed, all of your existing and future Virtual Tours will be provided with a white label domain URL. All previous links containing the captur3d.io branding will still work as normal.

Example

If your business name/website is ‘3D Virtual Tours’, sub-domain can be set to www.tours.3dvirtualtours.com 

• Virtual Tour URL will be accessible via: www.tours.3dvirtualtours.com/view/client-name/property-address
• Single Property Website URL will be accessible via www.tours.3dvirtualtours.com/page/client-name/property-address
• Booking Form URL's will be accessible via: www.tours.3dvirtualtours.com/booking_form/client-name/property-address

Please note:

Subdomains cannot be nested more than one level from the root domain. For example:

🚫 hello.tours.yourcompany.com

✅ tours.yourcompany.com

Step 1

• Setup a CNAME record onto the DNS Provider. The CNAME source/host must be a subdomain (e.g tours.provider.com or booking.provider.com)
  
• The CNAME value must point to customdomain.captur3d.io (NOTE: customdomain must remain as is)
  
  Example: tours.realty3d.com => customdomain.captur3d.io
  
  Please note:
  - Some DNS servers may require you to type 'www.' before entering your custom CNAME
  - Only use lowercase characters when entering your CNAME value!*
  
  
• Each DNS Provider will have different setup steps, but here are a few common ones:

Step 2

• Once Step 1 has been completed, you need to click the 'Connect to Matterport' button on your CAPTUR3D Dashboard.

Step 3

• Click Company settings in your profile menu top-right of the Dashboard and then click the Domain tab along the top of the Settings page.
  
  
• Enter the full subdomain you set up in Step 1 in the White label domain relevant field and click Activate.

Custom subdomain

For a streamlined approach to boost your brand's visibility without the complexities of setting up a white label domain, we recommend utilising a custom subdomain. This option not only enhances brand exposure but also offers a straightforward setup process. Please note that this subdomain setup will still include 'captur3d' in the URL string. For a complete whitelabel setup, please follow the instructions above.

The custom subdomain will be applied on your Virtual Tours, Single Property Websites, and Public Booking Forms. To set up a custom subdomain:

• Click Company settings in your profile menu top-right of the Dashboard and then click the Domain tab along the top of the Settings page.
• The Custom subdomain section showcases how your URLs will be structured with the first part being the company name of your CAPTUR3D account
• Click Activate to setup your custom subdomain and then start using for all newly created virtual tours and single property websites.
