Use CAPTUR3D’s website template builder to create a gallery of custom single property website templates. This means you can create individual property websites based on the needs of each of your clients.
What are CAPTUR3D website templates?
Our single property website templates help you arrange content in a way that works for your business.
We’ve introduced four official CAPTUR3D templates: Real Estate Standard, Industrial, Insurance and Real Estate Premium. But with our new template builder, you can create your own website templates by choosing different layouts, banners and content modules.
Create a new website template
Start by navigating to Website Templates on the sidebar. From this page you can Select a template design from the CAPTUR3D team to duplicate or choose Create template to build your own.
When you choose Create template, add a Template name and when you’re done, click Create to open the template builder.
Once inside the template builder, you can change the name by clicking Edit name.
Structure your template
Choose an option from Layouts to start your template. You will be able to add multiple layouts to your template. Simply drag and drop to rearrange your layouts.
Once you choose a layout, you can customise your Banner style and Margin in Layout settings.
You can change the Banner style and Margin for each new layout, so keep this in mind when planning the overall look and feel of your website template.
If you’ve chosen any Banner style option except No banner, you can select either a Branding banner or Property banner from the dropdown menu.
In addition to Layout settings, click the purple dotted outline of your columns to access Column settings. Rearrange the columns in your layout using the drag and drop interface.
You can provide a Heading for each column, which will appear publicly once you publish your template. A common use case for this Heading function is to add a property title or name to the website.
Organise your content
Now that you’ve customised your Layout settings, you can Select content to populate your columns. From the Select content dropdown menu you have numerous content modules to choose from, including Virtual Tour, Floor Plan, Documents, etc. Once you make a selection, it’s highlighted in green. If you change your mind, you can delete the selection by clicking the icon and choose a different content module.
Virtual Tour
This content module will be populated by the Virtual Tour of your property.
Here you can toggle Scroll zoom on and off, depending on the use case for your website template. We recommend that you keep Scroll zoom disabled unless you’re creating a website template for insurance purposes. In this instance, the Scroll zoom will allow you to view the Virtual Tour in greater detail.
Documents
This content module will be populated by links provided in the Single Property Website > Options section of your Property page. Choose to feature either a Report file or Additional links.
Image carousel
This content module will be populated with images from the Photo section of your Property page. Select either Feature, Quad or Collection to customise your carousel style.
Video carousel
This content module will be populated with videos from the Video section of your Property page. There are no further settings at this time.
Property information
This content module will be populated by the Property information from your Property page. There are no further settings at this time.
Map
This content module will be defined by the property address from your Property page. There are no further settings at this time.
Floor Plan
This content module will be populated from the Floor Plan section of your Property page. There are no further settings at this time.
Submit a report
This content module is usually featured in insurance websites, so that users can upload progress reports and documents. There are no further settings at this time.
Preview and save your template
Select the Preview button in the upper right corner of the workspace to preview your template. Choose any property listed in the drop down menu and click Preview to continue. The template preview will open in a new window.
You can also preview any template from the Website templates page.
Select the Save button in the upper right corner of the template builder to save your template. The icon will appear once the save has been successful.
Publishing your website template
Select Properties in the sidebar and choose a property from your list. On the Property page navigate to the Single Property Website section and click Options to view the extended options.
In the Template dropdown menu you can choose from any of your saved templates and those provided by CAPTUR3D. Once you’ve made a selection, click Update to save.
Either copy the website URL into your browser search bar or click the hyperlinked URL to view your published website.
Editing your template while in use
You can make changes to your Saved templates at any time. Simply click Edit.
Note: when you update or change a template, this will automatically affect any Single Property Websites using that template. If you’re looking to iterate on a website template without impacting existing Single Property Websites, Duplicate the template first.
