Now you can access your Navigation Menu functions through our Creator Studio.
This currently includes:
- Section headers
- Media: images, videos, floor plans, documents & webpages
- Virtual Tour: tour locations & other tours
While we’re continuing to build Navigation Menu features into Creator Studio, you can still access some legacy features from your Property page.
These include: maps, contact details, lead generation forms and additional text pop-ups.
We’re working hard to integrate these features into Creator Studio. But in the meantime, let’s walk through how to set up your new Navigation Menu in Creator Studio.
Finding the ‘Menu’ section
This is now located under the ‘Overlay’ tab, in the left-hand side panel. It should look like this:
Creating a New Section
A Section Header allows you to organise the items listed in your Navigation Menu.
- Click the Header icon to open the editor modal.
- Input your preferred title and choose an icon (optional). These will appear on your menu.
- Click Add to save your Header.
Adding items from 'Virtual Tour'
There are two types of links that you can add to your Navigation Menu: tour locations and other tours. Let's go through each option more in depth.
Tour locations
Tour locations will take users to a specific location or sweep inside your tour.
Here are instructions to create tour location links:
- Click the Tour locations button to open the editor modal.
- Input your preferred title and choose an icon (optional). These will appear on your menu.
- List under your preferred Header (optional).
- Click Begin to start navigating to your selected position inside your tour.
- Click Select location to save the position.
- A thumbnail preview will appear under Selected location.
- Finally press Add to save your link.
Your Tour location should appear in your menu like this:
Other tours
Other tours will open a different virtual tour in your existing window. This is great for showcasing multiple tours or properties from a single menu.
Here are instructions to create other tour links:
- Click the Other tours button to open the editor modal.
- Input your preferred title and choose an icon (optional). These will appear on your menu.
- List under your preferred Header (optional).
- Select a tour provider: CAPTUR3D, Matterport or other.
- Paste your tour URL in the corresponding field.
Note that at this time, we can only accept CAPTUR3D, Matterport and MPEmbed tours. We’re working to expand this in future updates.
- Click Add to save your link.
Adding items from 'Media'
It’s really simple to add different media types to your Navigation Menu. All media types on offer will appear in your tour as a modal, with your title text above.
The process to add media is the same for images, videos, floor plans & documents.
Let’s go through the process:
- Click any button under Media to open the corresponding editor window.
- Input your preferred title and choose an icon (optional). These will appear on your menu.
- List under your preferred Header (optional).
- Select media location:
You can either select media from your CAPTUR3D account, or upload media via URL.
- Click Add to save your media.
Adding webpages
The process of adding webpages differs slightly from the above, but is just as straight-forward:
- Click the Webpages button to open the editor modal.
- Input your preferred title and choose an icon (optional). These will appear on your menu.
- List under your preferred Header (optional).
- Paste your webpage URL into the corresponding field. Ensure that it is in the correct format.
- Click Preview to test that your URL works.
- Click Add to save your webpage.
Reordering your Menu
On the right-hand side panel of Creator Studio, you’ll see items listed under ‘Your menu’. To reorder any of the items listed, simply click & hold the 6-dots and drag the item to your preferred location. This includes the Section Headers.
You can also edit or delete items by clicking the kebab menu (3-dots) on the right-hand side.
