Virtual Staging allows you to place 3D objects directly into your virtual tours - enabling you to virtually stage unfurnished properties and enhance your Digital Twins.
We have an internal library of 3D furniture and objects available, or you can access 750,000+ free static and animated assets through our Sketchfab integration.
You can also upload your own custom 3D assets! We currently only support GLB files. Here’s a guide on how to upload and convert your custom assets.
Before you get started, we highly recommend watching our Virtual Staging masterclass here.
How to access Virtual Staging
1. Open any property from your dashboard and click Creator Studio
2. Once inside Creator Studio, select the Staging tab from the top navigation.
Adjust settings
Your virtual staging settings are located in the top left-hand corner of Creator Studio under Tour Settings.
Here you have several options:
- Staging is default view on arrival - when this is turned on, users will see virtual staging automatically any time they view your property.
- User can toggle staging on and off - when this is turned on, users have control over whether they see virtual staging on your property.
Simply select Yes or No to determine your ideal settings, and then click Save.
Note that these settings only apply to the specific tour that you are editing.
Choosing and Placing a 3D Asset from the Library
1. On the left-hand side panel, there are two options - Assets or Sketchfab. In both cases, you will see a search field. Select the field and type a keyword to describe the type of asset you are looking for. For example, ‘chair’ or ‘rug’.
2. Once you find an asset you like, left-click on the thumbnail and move your mouse to hover over the editor window. This will allow you to see a preview of where your asset will be placed.
3. Move the mouse around until your asset is in the desired position.
4. Right-click your mouse to drop the asset into place.
Uploading a custom 3D asset
Please note we currently accept GLB files only. You can convert your OBJ files for free via the following website: https://anyconv.com/obj-to-glb-converter/

4. Confirm by selecting Upload.
Now you can select the uploaded asset from the left-hand side panel.
Positioning, Rotating and Scaling your 3D Asset
Three icons are available at the bottom of your editor window: Position, Rotate and Scale.
Numerical fields corresponding to each individual axis are located under Properties.
Note that some are locked by default when you select Position, Rotate or Scale. These can be unlocked by clicking the icon next to the label.
1. Use the editing UI or adjust the numerical fields to position, rotate or scale your asset.
2. Right-click your mouse to confirm the changes.
