If the centre of the custom asset isn't set directly on the central axis, this can cause issues with placement in the CAPTUR3D Virtual Staging engine (see below for an example)
The example chair asset in the screenshot below is in the correct central axis position. The flowers asset is not:
Step 1
Move your chosen asset to the centre of the example chair asset - ensuring it sits flush on the floor plane grid (see screenshot below):
To precise move an asset, Select the asset by clicking on it (or using the mouse to click and drag around the entire asset if there are multiple textures/objects as part of the same model.)
Then click and drag the red axis arrow for moving left or right, blue for up and down, green for forward or backward
Step 2
Export the asset that you need ONLY (not all assets together in 1 export - make sure the sample chair asset and measurement image isn't selected)
- Select the entire asset
- Click File>Export
- In the right-side menu, under the Include title, make sure you tick the Limit to: Selected Objects box
- Choose where you want to save the file to and then click Export glTF 2.0
