Step 1
Open Blender, delete any default objects and click File>Import>glTF 2.0 (.glb/gltf)
Step 2
Link to the folder containing the .gltf file, texture file and bin file (the 3 files should be contained within the same folder). Before opening, keep the import options/setting as default (see screenshot below).
The textures will be linked automatically on import.
Step 3
To make sure the texture is correctly linked, turn ON shading in viewport (see highlighted circular icon below)
If the textures don't link automatically, select the entire asset and select the Shading tab at the top of the screen and follow the steps in the GIF below (drag the texture file into the bottom module of the interface and link the texture file 'colour' icon to the main file 'base colour' icon. Please see GIF below:
Step 5
Select the entire object and click File>Export>glTF 2.0 (.glb/gltf)
Step 6
Before exporting, under the Format dropdown menu on the right-side menu, select glTF Binary(.glb) and ensure the checkboxes in the screenshot below are ticked/unticked:
Step 7
Name the file as you wish and then click Export GLTF 2.0
