Guided Tours

Use multiple Wayfinding Points in your digital twin to create custom Guided Tours. Here’s how to set up your own Guided Tours.

How to create a Guided Tour

1. In CAPTUR3D Creator Studio, click on the ARConnect tab in the top navigation menu
2. Click Wayfinding on the left-hand side menu and select Guided Tours
   
   Greyed out? This means you don’t have any Wayfinding Points created. Find instructions on how to add a Wayfinding Point here.
   
   
   
   
3. Once you select Guided Tour, this will open the editor modal
4. Under About add a title, description and thumbnail (these will be public to your users)
   
   
   
   
5. Then navigate to Stops
6. Under Add wayfinding points you can choose from the list or search for a specific point
7. Once selected, these will appear under Arrange your stops on the right-hand side
   
   
   
   
8. Click the six-dots and drag to reorder your stops
9. Click Save to continue

Once saved, you can edit your Guided Tour from the right-hand side menu. Simply select the three dots (kebab menu) next to your Guided Tour and click Edit.

You can also use the drop-down filter to view your Wayfinding Points and Guided Tours separately.

Press Publish in the top right-hand corner to make your Guided Tour public.

Using Guided Tours in ARConnect

Once you have set up a Guided Tour in the CAPTUR3D platform, there is no further work required to activate this in ARConnect.

To use your Guided Tour, simply:

1. Open the ARConnect app
2. On the Select a Space screen, choose your property
3. On the Select starting point screen, choose your alignment point
4. Align with the physical space
5. Once aligned, tap the Guided Tour icon at the bottom of the screen
6. On the Select a guided tour screen, choose your desired pathway
7. On the Select a start location screen, choose the first stop of the guided tour
8. Start navigating in AR!
